Jeff Crandell

I have developed specific photographic skills over forty years of working as a location scout in the film and TV industry. That is, how to find, shoot, and present film locations that follow a script and fulfill a director’s vision.

Ultimately, producing a single image that embodies a location – the hero shot.

Over the same period, I worked on my own photography – landscapes/cityscapes and a whole lot of experimenting. Some of the work I’ve had the opportunity to exhibit – mostly it evolves.

As my career in film production winds down and there’s greater focus on photography - pursuit of the hero shot continues - reaching out to the director in all of us.
